Does the library have a place where I can take my online courses?

Yes and no! The library has many computer terminals on-site for CSUSB student use, or you can check out a laptop, which will be loaned to you for the semester. 

For listening to the class, we have a few headphones available to check out, but we recommend that you bring your own earbuds. 

However, if you need to talk during the class, the library's public areas may not be your best option, because you will disturb others who are studying around you.  

Alternatives:

  • Get a laptop, then reserve an individual study room for use during your class meeting time. You can shut the door to keep the noise down.
  • Multi-Group Study Room PL-503 is Zoom friendly. It has multiple tables the several students can share, and no reservations are required.
  • Take a laptop to a different location on campus. Both CSUSB and PDC have excellent wireless connectivity in almost all buildings, and even outside on patio areas.
